About Clark
A Sacramento native, Clark Branscum grew up playing Little League baseball in East Sacramento and often visited Shakey's Pizza after
games at 57th and J Street. Today, Clark frequents the very same location but now as Owner and Operator of his restaurant, Clark’s Corner.
After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Clark moved to California to attend the California Culinary Academy
located in San Francisco. He graduated from the Hospitality and Restaurant Management program and set out
to build an establishment that would offer innovative cooking, gracious service and a memorable dining experience.
About the Chef
Executive Chef Marlaw Seraspi grew up in Sacramento, California. A graduate from the California Culinary Academy located
in San Francisco with honors, Marlaw has worked in a number of establishments across California and in New York.
His experience includes working for Michael Mina at the Arcadia restaurant in the San Jose Marriott, Blanca in San Diego
with Wade Hageman, The James Beard House in New York, and he also worked with The Michael Mina Group in San Francisco.
Marlaw’s unique approach to classic American dishes is simple yet sophisticated.
Marlaw's experience and passion were instrumental in the development of Clark’s Corner.
